We finally got our interior doors! We ended up going with a different vendor, as the first one was cheap but clearly not reliable. 🤦♀️ We spent this weekend fitting all of them.... OMG. THAT is not a fun job, even when they come pre-hung!!
Then yesterday we painted them and the casings for installation. We are happy with the way they came out. So worth it not going with white!
Other projects we completed since I last blogged include some planters that we will put in front of the new shed. Thank you to Josh, our neighbor, for giving us the corrugated metal.
I'm a little hesitant to show this last one, as pictures do not do it justice. We have a feature wall that we've painted a lime green (to match our front door that is coming.) Across from that wall is the sideboard. I was going to use wallpaper for behind the cabinet but then decided on painting the wall the same bright green and installing wood slats. It turned out great, even though in this picture it resembles a tiki wall. 🤣
We are hopeful that we will hear from the window and door company this week so we can get those installed ASAP. It's getting Africa hot down here in Phoenix (Biloxi Blues reference for those of you who are movie buffs.) We are looking forward to heading back to BC for the summer!
