We have floors!

This past week our flooring was installed. The biggest challenge with picking the floor was it needed to complement rather than compete with the kitchen cabinets. We are very happy with the results!

The flooring is from AAA Hardwood (http://aaahardwood.com/) They did a great job with both tile removal, and then installing the new floors. The color is Santa Cruz Oak.

We're anxiously awaiting the arrival of our interior doors (thank you COVID-19). We will be painting all the interior doors gray to match the Ikea sideboard cabinets. Here is the closet door already painted. #nowhitedoorsforme

Now that we are seriously considering a move to this house, I'm looking at what I can do to give my office some visual interest. My go-to and much-beloved wallpaper is out due to the texture on all the walls. 😢

As an alternative, I decided to go with a modern take on board and batten. Here is what we came up with. It will be painted dark gray to match the interior doors.
